De-mystified Yoga

A YogaXoga class is a great balance of fitness, relaxation and overall wellness.  It makes the rest of my life easier.  Heidi is a gentle and inviting teacher.

I have never considered myself the yoga type, but I was wrong. Due to a chronic pain condition, several doctors recommended that I try yoga. After 6 months of practice with Heidi, I am regaining my quality of life.  I am very thankful for yoga – my vacation from pain; but I also love the increased flexibility and strength. Plus, yoga is a fun way for me to reduce my risk of osteoporosis.

I must admit that I was skeptical when I decided to try yoga class the first time but I thought "What can it hurt?"  The answer is "It can't hurt anything!"  I have been thrilled with the yoga experience.  I have learned so much about myself and my body through the awareness that is gained through the various moves in class. I even think my posture has improved.
Heidi is a calm and very effective instructor -- she pays attention to detail, gives a variety of options, teaches us to be strong in mind and body, has a wonderful sense of humor, and is a joy to work with.  I highly recommend Heidi's classes to anyone who would like a good workout along with increased self-awareness and a need for relaxation.

Yoga is a great workout and Heidi proves anyone can do it. We all have different flexibility levels, and one of the things I like about YogaXoga is that Heidi will show you alternative poses that get the same results. I have even gotten my husband to do yoga with me! He is gaining much flexibility and feeling much better.

Heidi's yoga classes help me to be grounded and stay calm in my workday. Heidi's style and voice are calming and make it easy for anyone at any level to have a positive experience in the class. I especially like the relaxation at the end of the class. Over time, it is more and more fulfilling. Everyone should try yoga!

I think Heidi does a super job of teaching.  She has a wonderful voice and a very good demeanor.  She is constantly watching us to see that we are doing the poses correctly.  She is always taking classes to improve her teaching techniques.  She is very patient and kind and is interested in you as a person.

Christ-centered Yoga

YogaXoga is not only a wonderful workout, but it is a unique worship time.  At the end of the session you have an intense, yet peaceful time communing with the Lord - my soul to the Holy Spirit inside of me.  I would love to be able to begin each day with YogaXoga!

YogaXoga has been the best gift I have ever given myself. It’s been a dream come true to have an angel for an instructor right in my own living room!  Knowing the importance of breathing has been life-changing for me. I’m able to challenge myself each class with the various poses.  I really love the relaxation and the lavender eye pillow is a touch of extra love.  To be able to exercise for the hour and pray along with the bible verses is incredible!

YogaXoga has been a great blessing to me this year.  I have tried yoga before but this is so much more peaceful and at the same time challenging.  Since being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last year, I have looked for exercises to help strengthen my body but at the same time are not too taxing.  I have recommended this class to several friends and they all love it too.  I've even given up tennis so that I don't miss any classes!

Where else in life do you hear someone say: "Take your time...Go with your breath."  We all know it is good to pause.  When do we really do it?
